A new artistic medium: sly painting on milk bottles
Someone is painting on empty milk bottles, then sneaking them into unsuspecting citizens' normal milk delivery. Folks are trying to catch the artist in the act.
Jackie Dimock, 55, from nearby Kingswinford, discovered a bottle on her doorstep on Monday morning. She said: "I was putting out the empties and I noticed there was an extra one on the doorstep. "When I picked it up I saw there was this amazing picture on it. The milkman came to collect the bottles, but I didn't want to give him the one with the picture on it, I'm going to keep it.
i hope you had some fun "thinking design" moments here!
today milk bottles have a totally different shape === think about the huge 1 gallon size "bottles", better container, which you will not find in germany, because they wouldn't fit in the average size of a german refrigerator. ;)) lol
milk bottles ... some of us can still remember them from our own childhood ;) i can! i remember them standing on the top of the staircase in front of the entrance door to my grandma's house. ... waiting for us to take them inside and have some fresh cold milk for breakfast. they were made out of glass, with a aluminum cap on top. i always have loved the - little bulky - shape. i do not know who designed the first of them, but this person definitely got the right shape for the milk.
